00 AM and are subject to change based on business needs) Basic Purpose and Objective:
Oversees the manufacturing function of Heading, Secondary, Final Inspection and the support functions of Warehouse, Shipping/Receiving and Maintenance for all second shift production.
Specific Duties and
Responsibilities:
Develop and manage production schedules that meet plans and customer requirements.
Establish labor plans to match production schedules, including managing communications and execution.
Be aware of production efficiencies on an ongoing basis and have a system in place to continually address and improve performance with monthly meeting to report out and assign action items and track progress.
Coordinate raw material with Materials Manager.
Develop and submit, production, and labor-utilization plans.
Drive LEAN and other continuous improvement and cost-reduction practices.
Manage any incoming or outgoing freight on the 2nd shift, including expedited orders.
Will need to be able to interface with carriers, customers and able to send ASN's as needed.
Work Environment:
Spends bulk of day on plant floor (non-air-conditioned environment) with minimal office time.
Safety:

Create and maintain a safe work environment; repair and/or report non-conformances to company safety policies and guidelines.

Physical Demands:
Able to sit or stand for 8 - 10 hours a day.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in related field 5
years of progressive manufacturing experience manufacturing, (cold Heading manufacturing preferred) Strong analytical skills coupled with a keen business acumen and strong team building skills.
Ability to develop and implement creative and proactive solutions to optimize business performance.
Self-starter able to operate under minimal supervision.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
Strong Business and Financial acumen Experience JD Edwards or similar ERP system.
Knowledge of IATF 16949 & ISO 14001 and specific local requirements Position Type/Expectations of Working Hours:
Full time position for 2nd shift (Shift hours typically range from 4:
30 PM to 3:
00 AM and are subject to change based on business needs).
Regularly scheduled to work 10-hour shifts.
Work schedule is Monday through Saturday.
